International Hispanic Heritage Celebration – San Marcos, California


International Hispanic Heritage Celebration  (IHHC) would like to invite all the Chilean public to their event which will be held  Sunday September 23, 2012.  Dignitaries present will be speaking about this  important Hispanic Heritage Month,  celebrated between Sept.15th and October 15th.


IN BIZ  Latino, a 501-C3 Non Profit Organization and North County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is organizing this family affair  with the goal of educating our young generation regarding our cultural and ethnic heritages. IN BIZ Latino American Business Alliance has existed for 2 1/2 years and its goal is to serve as a connection between Anglo businesses and the Latino Market.

12:00 pm – Our distinguish speaker: RADM William Rodriguez Retired Surface Warfare and Engineering Duty Naval Officer with over 30 years of experience in communications and computer System. (Residing in San Diego) He works with Hispanics in San Ysidro.The Marines will be presenting the colors.

INTERNATIONAL HISPANIC HERITAGE CELEBRATION (IHHC) is being supported by the community of San Diego. Chamber of Commerces, Historical Society, Boys and Girls Club, Colleges, Unified School District, Camp Pendleton, Navy, Financial businesses, Health entities, to name a few.
Various attractions promise to make the IHHC a very exciting and memorable day for families and the community. There will be plenty of delicious ethnic foods from various countries to musical performances, a dance show presented by the San Marcos Historical Society, and a pageant show.

Below in her words is a brief biography.

I became a citizen while a teenager coming from Chile. The majority of my work experience has been in the travel industry: First with TWA, then as a Sales Manager for a travel agency in Honolulu. Currently I am the owner of and also a representative for Momentis Energy.
My two sons are in Tacoma, Washington and Los Angeles and I have resided in San Diego County for the last 12 years with my husband Michael who is a CPA. Dancing is my favorite hobby and I also enjoy getting together with friends for a variety of activities.
