And of course, at El Rincon Chileno events will run from Saturday to Monday, “El 18” (this is the only announced celebration on the actual 18th). Friday, September 15th event “Fiesta Sudamericana: Independencia de Chile” is at Club Hola – 6714 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, California 90028. Starts at 9:00pm to 2am and there is a $10 Cover charge. Music will be played by DJ Niko: musica chilena bailable, and of course a “pies de cueca” and typical Chilean dance-cumbia grooves. DJ Niko wrote on his Facebook: “El Chilenazo Restaurant estará REGALANDO EMPANADAS para toda su clientela en el Carrete Dieciochero de Club Hola Hollywood”. It is a 21 and over event.
This year’s “Orange County Chilean Fest 2017 Fiestas Patrias Chilenas” is hosted Chile America Sur de California, and will be held on Saturday, September 16, from noon to 8pm at Ted Craig Regional Park, 3300 S State College Blvd in Fullerton, California 92835. Pre-paid ticket price per person $15.00 ($2 is a service charge). Event is pre-paid, but you can purchase at door for $20. Please to link here purchase tickets and info in Spanish. Your entrance ticket includes one “plato unico”, which includes BBQ (various options: beef, chicken, ribs or chorizo), salad and water or soda. There will be additional food for sale on site. Parking: Ted Craig Regional Park has a $5.00 entrance fee – per car, which pays for the park’s upkeep – but if you park on the street, you can walk in.
Event highlights include Folklore Dancing Show, Live DJ, Cueca Dance Contest and Clown Show. The entrance ticket includes contests, games and LAN airline ticket raffle. Grupo Folklorico Chile Cordillera y Mar is organizing an event “Ramada Onde Don Lucho” on Saturday September 16 from 12pm to 8pm at 214 South Euclid Avenue in Ontario, California 91762. There will be dancing, folklore show and Chilean food. Donation of $5 includes a Latham raffle ticket. This is an all ages event.

The Saturday, September 16th evening event, “Fiestas Patrias 2017“ is organized by Lizabeth Urribe and Sergio Torres Letelier. The event will be at Twelve Two One Lounge at 1221 North San Fernando Road, Burbank, California from 6pm to 2am. They sold out on their $20 reserved tickets which includes an empanada, alfajor, a drink (soda, tea or coffee). Only option now is, $15 cover at door (which does not include food/drink extras) but there will be food for sale from 6-9pm. For those who arrive after 9pm, cover will be $10. Since this is a bar-restaurant, this is a 21 and over event.

A Chilean restaurant that has been in Los Angeles since the late 1960′s, El Rincon Chileno will hosts its annual patriotic days’ celebrations “Celebre el 18 de Septiembre 2017 en el Rincon Chileno“, in a sit-down restaurant setting (reservations are strongly recommended). This year the celebrations will begin on Saturday and will continue on Sunday and Monday the 18th.
