In the Los Angeles area, Chilean Independence festivities will begin Friday night the 18th of September with 3 night time events, (El Rincon Chileno, Wilfredo y su Mago’s Band, and Deejay Niko at Giggles. Continuing then on the Saturday the 19th at El Rincon Chileno and in Fullerton’s Chilean Fest 2015.
Celebrations end on Sunday, September 20th, with two events, one at El Rincon Chileno and the second event “El Guaton Loyola at a private home. All events are individually listed below, by date order – without any type of preferential order. There is a total of 5 event posters listed below.
A Chilean restaurant that has been in Los Angeles since the late 1960′s, El Rincon Chileno will hosts its annual patriotic days’ celebrations “Celebre el 18 de Septiembre en el Rincon Chileno“, in a sit-down restaurant setting (reservations are strongly recommended).
Friday, Sept 18 – Dinner Celebration with a presentation of the Chilean National Hymn and traditional Chilean folklore and live music by Esther Segovia and Grupo Folkorico, Lejos de Mi Tierra plus DJ Charlie. So plenty of dancing, cuecas and pop music. $10.00 cover with open menu. Dancing until 2am
Saturday Sept 19 – Celebration Continues with live tropical dance music (cumbia, salsa, merengue) by Edgar and Lucy – $10.00 cover with open menu till 2am
Sunday Sept 20 – Grand Buffet of Traditional Chilean Dishes for $16.95 per person. All day until closing.

This Friday dance event, called “Gran Celebracion de la Independencia de Chile” is organized by Wilfredo Aguilar (their first year hosting), and will be held on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 6pm to 12:30am at the Sherman Oaks Women’s Club at 4808 Kester Avenue, Sherman Oaks, CA 91403. General admission prices include (1) empanada and (1) beverage. Admission for adults $15.00, Young adults ages 11-14 $8.00 and children under 10, enter free. There will be delicious Chilean food, live music by Wilfredo Aguilar Y Su Grupo Mago’s Band, cueca competitions and other surprises. Plenty of free parking.

Another Friday, September 18th event is “Fiesta Independencia de Chile – Noches Sudamericanas” at Club Hola – River Rock Lounge 12833 Ventura Blvd, Studio City, California 91604 (at the Sportsman’s Lodge). To be placed on Guest List call or text Henrik (818)974-6686 or Niko (818)233- 7009 or Nano (818) 205-6557. Main Dancefloor: Cumbia, Salsa, Merengue, Reggaeton, Bachata, and much more. Patio Lounge: Electronica, House. Guest List will run till 10:30pm at a $5.00 cover. After 10:30pm cover will be $10.00. There will be “pies de cueca” and typical Chilean dance cumbia grooves and hits along with Pisco Sours. Doors open at 9pm till 2am. 21 and over event.
This “Orange County Chilean Fest 2015 Fiestas Patrias Chilenas” is hosted Chile America Sur de California, and will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2015 from 11 am to 9pm at Ted Craig Regional Park, 3300 S State College Blvd in Fullerton, California 92835. Ticket price per person $5.00, children under 12 enter free. (Ted Craig Regional Park has a $5.00 entrance fee – per car, which pays for the park’s upkeep – but if you park on the street, you can walk in).
Event highlights are: Live musical performances Wilfredo Aguilar and live DJ with. Plus performances of Chilean folklore by Grupo Folklorico Chile America Sur de California. There will also be contests, games and raffles.

There is no cover charge(free event) and it is a family oriented event with Chilean music & entertainment and Chilean food & drink available for purchase.
